Vacation!
As much as I have been working between my two jobs lately I have been exhausted! It doesn't help that I have had to go out of town every weekend since the middle of June for something so I really haven't had any time to rest. After this Thursday at noon I have 10 days of and I am super excited! I am planning on doing absolutely nothing besides maybe going to the lake and working on my tan. This past weekend I was in Kearney for Cruise Night and it was insane! There were about 2000 people lining the sides of 25th St. My mom gets the police reports at her job and she said there were 60 mips and 103 traffic violations! That shows you how the Kearney Police have nothing better to do than look for minors drinking and people turning into the wrong lane or going 3 mph over the speed limit.

Cruise Night
This week has been an extremely long week. I was out on the lake all weekend so that wore me out and on top of that I woke up on Monday with a horrible cold! I can't believe that there is already only one month left of summer. Before I know it I will be back in classes. I haven't even ordered my books yet so I should probably start thinking about doign that so that classes don't get here and my books haven't come in yet! I'm excited to go back to Kearney this weekend to spend time with my family and go to Cruise Night. Cruise Night happens once a year in Kearney when people from all over bring in their classic cars and drive them up and down 25th street all night. Its really cool to see all of the cars and watch the burn-out contests. Next weekend I'm going down to Pawnee City for a mud volleyball tournament and that should be pretty interesting since mud and I don't really get along to well, but it should be a good time.

Boysenberry Lane
So while everyone is still in transition for new student assistants in the admissions office, I figured I could up date everyone on my recent Illinois accomplishment. I finally found a place to live when I leave for Springfield IL next month for my full time clinicals. It has the most adorable name...Boysenberry Lane...which makes me smile everytime I say it. It is in a good part of town (as I had recently learned there are some not so hot places there), so I am a little more excited about going, since I really don't want to. I also had my last day of part time clinicals here at BryanLGH East. We completed 45 hours, basically shadowing, and scanning a couple of the basic pictures. I loved it, which makes me want to get out in the real world even more.
In terms of my wedding planning, I finally found a photographer and we will be getting a few engagement pictures taken this weekend, and I have no clue what I am going to wear, but I guess we are going to Wilderness Ridge to take them so that will be fun climbing around their cool waterfall. Now I just need to find a cake person....any ideas???
Alright I better get going I have a big day of class tomorrow which includes a quiz, lab, and picking our topic for our capstone presentations...I'm thinking Osteogenesis Imperfecta...fun stuff.
Until next time..
